Our original size chart & fit advice
A little guidance for their next favourite outfit.
Start with your child’s measured height, then compare the size reference with the outfit you love. Children grow at their own pace, and every style has its own fit.
Height guide & choosing between sizes
Use these MINIQUE height ranges as a starting point. At a shared boundary, use the larger size: for example, 98 cm starts the 3–4 years range.
| Starting size | Child’s measured height |
|---|---|
| 1–2 years | 80 to under 90 cm |
| 2–3 years | 90 to under 98 cm |
| 3–4 years | 98 to under 105 cm |
| 4–5 years | 105 to under 112 cm |
| 5–6 years | 112 to 118 cm |
For heights below 80 cm or above 118 cm, or if age and height suggest different rows, our team will help you choose. The original chart above also includes sizes 6–7 and 7–8 years for reference.
A closer or roomier preference does not automatically mean a different size. Check the outfit’s measurements with us if you’re unsure.
How to measure height
Have your child stand barefoot on a level floor with their back against a wall, looking straight ahead. Place a flat book level on the top of their head, mark the wall and measure from the floor to the mark. If your child cannot stand steadily, share their most recent length measurement with our team.
